It’s winter, but work continues on the Fehmarnbelt tunnel. On the German side at Puttgarden, the entrance to the tunnel – the tunnel portal - is being constructed on land 12 metres below sea level. And the work harbour receives vessels on a weekly basis bringing materials for the construction of the railway and new bridges for the local roads in the area. We have made a short video that gives an insight into the many activities this winter at Puttgarden.
