The Fehmarnbelt tunnel in LEGO bricks

In collaboration with LEGOLAND, Sund & Bælt has opened a new exhibition in Miniland – the heart of LEGOLAND.

The exhibition shows the construction of the Fehmarnbelt tunnel between Denmark and Germany. The 250 m2 exhibition includes the tunnel factory, excavation ships, the immersion of tunnel elements, traffic at the construction site and local features from Lolland-Falster and northern Germany.

Focus on the workforce of the future

For Sund & Bælt, the exhibition is not only a celebration of the ongoing tunnel construction, but also an investment in the future. The construction industry is experiencing a growing shortage of skilled labour, and the exhibition aims to inspire the next generation of young people to choose vocational training in the future.

One of Miniland's biggest attractions

With over 800,000 LEGO bricks, the exhibition is one of the largest in Miniland. The area offers plenty of movement and interaction, where guests can experience the construction site in miniature format and try their hand at operating cranes and other elements of the exhibition.

Visitors will be able to see trucks driving around on the roads and ships sailing around on the water. In addition, you can also see a tunnel element being pushed forward on the production line and immersed onto the seabed.

Guests can also see a miniature version of Pilen, located next to the Danish tunnel portal – just as we know it from real life.
