Insight and decent working conditions
Decent working conditions on the Fehmarnbelt project are of paramount importance to Femern A/S.
Compliance with existing legislation and regulatory requirements requires a joint effort on the part of the contractors, the two sides of industry, the client organization and public authorities.
By way of supporting the work of the authorities, Femern A/S, in consultation with the Ministry of Transport, has established office facilities for various agencies at the construction site in Rødbyhavn.
The offices are in the immediate vicinity of the construction site, the contractors’ office, the trades unions’ office and Femern A/S’ own supervisory unit.
The new facilities will provide a permanent workplace for the various agencies that are relevant to the Fehmarnbelt project.
The Authority Centre will support the locally based cooperation between the authorities and contractors and will ensure prompt and smooth service.
