A deeper purpose
In Femern A/S we are the responsible Client of the Fehmarnbelt Fixed link. Our preparation in building this underwater mega project is at an advanced stage, with the main construction phase close by.
Work with a deeper purpose
The Fehmarnbelt Fixed link will be an 18 km immersed tunnel and the World's longest of its kind. Supreme technologies and our employees’ outstanding experience will pave the grounds for this one-of-a-kind mega project. The tunnel is a top priority for the European Union as part of the Scandinavian-Mediterranean corridor. Once completed the tunnel will strengthen and draw Europe closer together, creating a whole new region in Northern-Europe. Knowing it will stand for generations after we are gone gives our work a deeper purpose. It compels each of us to bring all of our professional dedication to the table, handle problems proactively and make sure we do it right in everything we do.
Leave your mark
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to leave your professional mark on a unique physical manifestation that will go down in history. The Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link is a state-of-the-art mega project that involves building an enormous factory, a working harbour, portals and ramps. And, of course, a tunnel with a four-lane motorway and a high-speed dual track railway. Our role as the Client is to ensure high quality in every aspect of the project, being finance, time, environmental assessment or risk management.
