Femern A/S has today delivered responses to the 12,600 objections raised during the second public consultation on the Fehmarnbelt tunnel in Germany.
Femern A/S has prequalified companies to submit tenders for two framework agreements on consulting. The companies were prequalified for a framework agreement on client consulting services and technical in-house consulting services, respectively.
The Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link between Denmark and Germany and the Brenner Base Tunnel between Austria and Italy are both record-breaking European mega projects that will play a vital role in the future European transport network.
Around 1,000 participants from Germany and Scandinavia will meet Tuesday, 20 September for Fehmarnbelt Days 2016 at HafenCity University in Hamburg. This is the third FBD; the first took place in 2012 and the second in 2014. At the opening event, which was attended by leading politicians, the university’s President, Dr Werner Pelka, opened the conference, which ends on 22 September.
Femern A/S' updated application for planning permission for the Fehmarnbelt tunnel in Germany was submitted for public consultation in Germany between 12 July and 26 August 2016. The process is now complete and Femern A/S will be receiving thousands of responses over the weeks ahead.
